We Love Building A Message that Motivates
The building industry has provided us with strong relationships with many great customers along with important partnerships with the most trusted brands. We live and work in an industry where relationships and handshakes matter. We have endured economic highs and lows and through it all, the love of building has carried us forward. For these reasons, we’ve seen an evolution of our We Love Building campaign to further capture what it is that motivates us.
We Love Building has become so much more than just an initial celebration of Huttig’s 130th anniversary back in 2015. We quickly recognized that this message is what drives us—it’s why we get up in the morning, it inspires us to work harder and it empowers us to be the supplier of the American Dream. In 2016, Huttig realized that the reason we love building was the sense of unity across the industry. After celebrating our 130th anniversary, we wanted to focus on how we loved building together and that is what propelled us towards we love building proven for 130 years. Then in 2017, we reflected on why we love building—and we knew we loved building because of you the customers who we serve. So our campaign evolved from unity to humility. We were humbled by your stories and by your own reasons for staying in the sometimes wild, always exciting world of building. We took the time to speak with many of you and were blown away by the overwhelming sense of determination and dedication.
With 2018 just around the corner, we’ve evolved our message through a new lens. In the end, we knew what drew us to the building industry was strength. After looking at the tenacity that our vendors, partners and employees exhibited, it became clear—we love building with the best.
With the best brands and the best products in every category we serve, we strive to offer our customers the freedom of choice. With this in mind, Huttig has expanded our Huttig-Grip™ brand of fasteners and building products, to ensure our customers have a true opportunity to purchase the best products rather than the status quo. This one-stop experience allows our customers the convenience of purchasing everything they need including doors, millwork, building products, wood products and fasteners.
Throughout our campaign, it’s all been about how we can make things Easy for You. This coming year, we are celebrating what we’ve learned during 2017—that we love building With the Best, which is why we love building with you.
